I am currently involved on a number of research projects, either as a lead author or as a co-author. Below you can find brief descriptions of these projects.

Perceived reputation management, trust, and acceptability of hydrogen projects
  •  With Prof. Dr. Goda Perlaviciute, Dr. Nadja Contzen, and Prof. Dr. Linda Steg,  We examine how the perceived reputation management strategies of energy companies influence public trust in them and the acceptability of their initiatives.

Traits desired in environmental leaders when facing an imminent ecological disaster
  • With Jacob Matic, Dr. Shiv Mukherjee, and Prof. Dr. Mark van Vugt, we explore whether people's declared and actual environmental leader preferences are moderated by the type of environmental challenge followers expect to deal with.

Trust and public acceptability of environmental policies
  • With Dr. Shirin Betzler, Lena Schmeiduch, and Jana Weißenberger, we aim to study how trust in managing institutions and its dimensions (integrity vs. competence) influence the aceptability of different types of environmental policies.

Promoting sustainable consumption society-wide: a costly signaling approach
  • ANID's (Chile's National Agency for Research and Development) funded project aiming to study how, when, and in which contexts people's self-presentational needs promote sustainable consumption and adoption of ecological innovations.

Ecoanxiety in the scientific community
  • With Dr. Rodolfo Sapiains and Dr. Gabriela Azocar, we explore the emotional responses to climate change, and particularly, ecoanxiety, in a sample highly exposed to often negative climate change informartion such as the Chilean scientific community working on the topic.

Perceived fairness of solar radiation management
  • With Dr. Nadja Contzen and (+20 coauthors), we explore cross-culturally to what extent different configurations of solar radition management are perceived in terms of fairness.
